Owned and operated by the Pezzelli Family, Golden Crest is a 152-bed, providing comprehensive skilled nursing care, rehabilitation programs, and complex medical services. Among these are Physical, Occupational, and Speech Therapies, Memory Care and Hospice and Respite Care. Founded by Pat and Norma Pezzelli, Golden Crest Nursing Centre was Rhode Island’s very first skilled nursing facility when it first opened in 1969. At that time, it was recognized throughout the region as the most advanced facility of its type ever constructed.
Short Term Care
In our state-of-the-art Rehab Dept., full-time on-staff therapists provide Physical, Speech, and Occupational Therapies 7 days per week.
Long Term Care
We provide our residents with all the comforts of home, a vibrant activities program, and the very best in round-the-clock nursing care.
Hospice Care
Catered to by our staff trained to respond to their needs, residents feel safe and comfortable in always pleasant surroundings.
Memory Care
We strive to enhance the quality of life for those nearing the end of life's journey, and to provide comfort and support to loved ones.
